Convertus was created in 2013 by two young entrepreneurs with a passion for all things automotive. Starting out in a tiny bedroom of a downtown Vancouver apartment, the company has since grown from two inspired individuals to a team of over 85—but remains just as young and hungry as ever.
Where We Came From
Before Convertus, founding partners Nicholas Williams and Kevin Gordon built the digital marketing department for the largest auto retailer in Western Canada, the Jim Pattison Auto Group. It was here that they identified an opportunity in the automotive industry—they believed the rate of innovation and quality of support that was being offered was underwhelming at best. An observation turned into an idea, and that idea quickly evolved into something truly remarkable.
Together, Kevin and Nick co-founded the lean start-up and bootstrapped their way to a full-blown automotive marketing technology powerhouse.
What We’re Doing

We solve problems with a set of progressive digital solutions for future-focused auto dealers from coast to coast. We offer Paid Search (SEM), Organic Search (SEO), Paid Social, and Premium Websites to our dealer clients. We drive digital growth with customized strategies that help raise our dealers above the competition—both on and offline.
At our core, we operate on integrity, transparency and the pursuit of growth. We believe that great work sprouts from a positive, inclusive and fun work environment—which is why we incorporate dogs, nerf wars, pizza parties, game nights and all sorts of team building into our office culture. We try not to take ourselves too seriously.

KEVIN GORDON | Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Kevin co-founded Convertus in 2013, growing the company from a lean start-up of just two people to one of the top automotive digital marketing agencies in Canada.
Convertus set out to upend the stagnant landscape of digital marketing in the automotive industry. Offering highly strategic and innovative digital marketing solutions, the Convertus team has proven it has what it takes to consistently help its clients captivate and convert more business.
Prior to founding Convertus, at the age of 24, Kevin took on the role of eCommerce Director for the Jim Pattison Auto Group, one of the largest auto groups in Canada. Kevin’s contributions helped the group achieve its most profitable years in the 50 year history of the company while becoming B.C.’s top automotive retailer. This success caught the eye of the larger parent company, the Jim Pattison Group, providing Kevin with a stage to share his strategies and successes with Jim Pattison and his board of Directors.
When not plugged into the matrix, you can find him hiking mountain trails with his dog Kali, or engaging in his favourite sports: soccer, beach volleyball and Muay Thai.
NICHOLAS WILLIAMS | Co-Founder & Managing Partner
An ardent entrepreneur, operations guru, and international speaker, Nicholas Williams has cultivated a unique background in operations and digital marketing.
Over the past 10 years, he has developed a broad set of professional and academic experiences. Nicholas has a commerce degree with concentrations in both entrepreneurship and international business with distinction.
His professional background is also both varied and accomplished, ranging from start-up to big business. Nicholas has deviated from Operating Partner of a successful vehicle importation company to the Director of Marketing for an international manufacturing firm.
These diverse experiences have allowed him to develop in-depth expertise in operational efficiencies, leadership, and customer experience. Combined with a passionate blend of drive and focus, Nicholas has lead each of his organizations to the digital forefronts of their industry.
